「私は彼を知っている」「私の本です」「彼が私に電話をする」のように、
日本語では「私」に続く言葉を変えて文の意味を組み立てています。
英語の人称代名詞は、文の中での位置によって意味と形が変化します。
「~のもの」となる所有代名詞と合わせて覚えましょう。

所有格は名詞の前につけて「私の~」「あなたの~」の意味になります。
私の犬 my dog (a my dog 、my a dog は誤り)
※「私の」と特定のはっきりした犬と定まるため、a が付きません。

「所有格+名詞」は人称代名詞の他に「's」の形があります。

名詞の複数形がsで終わるときは「'」だけでsをつけないルールです。
「所有格+名詞」=「所有代名詞」~のもの
This is my book. → This book is mine. この本は私のものです。
This is his book. → This book is his.
名詞+'s でも「~の○○」を「~もの」に置き換えることができます。
This is Taro's book. → This book is Taro's.
太郎の本 → 太郎のもの
目的格は「動詞の後に置く」「前置詞の後に置く」使い方があります。
